Happy Wednesday everyone!
Every spring, I yearn for blush tones and this year it’s no different. Last week, it was sheer beige-pink hues (as seen here), and today, it’s lush rose tones. This is my second time wearing a bodysuit. The first time (in this blog post), it was made out of a sketchy jersey material. This time, I felt the full power and posture enhancing properties of a corseted bodysuit. I walked taller and sat straighter! In addition to pairing it with skirts, I can’t wait to try it with high-waisted trousers.
I happen to wear this skirt in perfect timing to an exciting announcement that was made yesterday. As you already know, I’m a huge fan of Marissa Webb. I truly adore her designs and treasure my small collection of her pieces (love this white blazer, embellished top, and lace-up pumps just to name a few). It was announced yesterday that she is the new Creative Director & Head of Design of Banana Republic! Over the past year, I’ve had the good fortune of getting to know Marissa, and her love for fashion is palpable. Her passion for design can be felt in every corner of the room. With an eye for the finest detail and a deep appreciation for quality, Marissa is the perfect candidate to give BR a fresh start. I’m beyond excited and can’t wait to experience the new Banana Republic!
Hope you’re having a wonderful day so far and thank you so much for reading!
