New ‘Litter for Real Men’ commercial sparks controversy

Procter and Gamble’s new television advertising campaign has brought a lot of complaints from various lobby groups and health organisations, offended by the product’s presentation in the commercials and the company’s promotion of bad hygienic habits.

“Presenting a toilet as a ‘flimsy and girly porcelaine menstrual cup, made for anorexic sluts and unfit for a real men’, encourages men to develop or maintain habits that are dangerous to public health” explains Jim Dickinson, spokesman of the American Medical Association.
